My art lives in the space between sky and earth — shaped by the beauty of nature and a deep fascination with flight.
In my paintings, landscapes, animals, and aircraft come together to create atmospheric scenes that convey calm, openness, and a sense of freedom.
My focus is on capturing moments that feel meaningful and bring quiet joy — honest, gentle, and without striving for perfection. Art doesn’t have to be loud. It can simply feel good and sharpen our eye for what is beautiful.
“Art is a form of love.”

My Path to Art
Born in 1987 in the Erzgebirge, a region where creativity has deep roots, I discovered my love for art early on. During a time when everyday life was often demanding and far from easy, drawing became my refuge — a quiet counterbalance to reality, a place where I found freedom, structure, and calm.
As a teenager, I focused on pencil drawings and illustrations before later discovering acrylic painting. After graduating from high school, I studied Applied Media Studies and have since worked professionally in graphic design, marketing, and fine art.
In 2011, I became a mother — an experience that deeply shaped my sense of time, values, and what truly matters.
Where Art Meets Aviation
In 2009, I began my glider pilot training, followed later by licenses for motor gliders and ultralight aircraft. Flying changed the way I see the world — quite literally. From above, landscapes, light, and vastness appear different: calmer, clearer, and more expansive.
My first aircraft, a Breezer, opened up entirely new perspectives. That aerial viewpoint continues to influence my painting to this day.
Nature as a Foundation
Nature is both my balance and my inspiration. Landscapes, animals, and changing light are not just subjects to me — they are feelings.
I live with my family in Ilmenau, on the northern edge of the Thuringian Forest, surrounded by several small airfields. It’s a place where everyday life, aviation, and nature naturally come together and flow directly into my artistic work.
