Painter of Your Dreams.
My art is a journey through the skies, a tribute to the beauty of nature, and a celebration of aviation.
With every brushstroke, I aim to bring joy and happiness—no criticism, just a wish to make the world a little brighter and more peaceful. I truly believe that by appreciating life’s small, positive moments and letting art touch our soul, we make the world a better place.
In my paintings, I blend my love for nature and animals, the freedom of flight, and the serene beauty of the sky—to create a harmony meant to inspire and uplift you.
“The task of art is to delight the heart.”
Hermann Hesse

Born in 1987 in the Erzgebirge, a region known for its vibrant creativity, I discovered my passion for art early on. In my youth, I perfected pencil illustrations before turning to acrylic painting in 2004—funded by my own pocket money spent on supplies and canvases.
After graduating high school in 2007 with a focus in design technology, I earned a degree in Applied Media Science from TU Ilmenau in 2012. During my studies, I already worked as a graphic designer, creating everything from illustrations to animations and websites.
Motherhood began in 2011, enriching me both personally and artistically.
Since 2014, I’ve co‑founded the agency Engelhardt & Wetzel GbR, where I combine artistic vision with strategic thinking.
Where Art Meets Aviation
My journey into flying began in 2009 with glider training, later adding powered-glider and ultralight licenses. Flying my first plane, a Breezer B400, opened up a whole new perspective—not only on the world but on my art as well.
Whether I’m soaring over landscapes or discovering cultural gems from above, flying has transformed how I perceive—teaching me to see the grand in the small and the beauty in skies and scenery alike.
A Love for Nature and Animals
Nature and animals are at the core of my life. Be it gardening, hiking, or spending time with our dog—being outdoors recharges and inspires me. To me, nature is a source of pure life-force that I passionately honor and seek to protect.
Today I live with my family and our dog in Ilmenau, at the northern edge of the Thuringian Forest, close to Arnstadt airfield. Here we embrace a life woven from family joy, aviation passion, and a love for nature—where we even have a Stemme S10VT glider of our own.

“An artist doesn’t paint what they see, but what they feel.”
