The article tells the story of my journey into aviation and how closely this passion is connected with my family. Today, my partner and my son actually fly more often than I do. As you can see, I spend more time painting airplanes than flying them myself.

This year I have mostly painted motor aircraft, but gliders remain very special to me. For me, they are probably the most elegant flyers in the sky – light, free, and full of poetry.
