There are these special moments in the studio when a new painting is finished, and I stand in front of the canvas, a little bit in love. That’s exactly how I felt about my latest work: Two Old English Bulldogs, now forever brought to life with acrylic and oil paints.
The painting measures 100 × 70 cm—and yes, it was a true journey to bring the personalities of these two dogs to life with my brush and paint. Every stroke, every shade tells a little piece of their story.

Why animal portraits are so special
You might wonder: why do I love painting animals so much? To me, animals are so much more than just pets. They are family members, comforters, companions on adventures—and often our best friends. A handmade portrait isn’t just a picture; it’s a lasting memory of the deep bond between human and animal.
What would the world be without our animals? It would be so much poorer!

Looking beyond the bulldogs
In the past, I’ve worked on many heartfelt projects—like horse portraits that combine elegance and power, always offering an exciting artistic challenge, and of course other dogs whose gaze immediately enchanted me. Each portrait is different, each animal brings its own energy—and that makes my work so exciting and varied.
Your own personal portrait
Perhaps you’re thinking: “A portrait of my own beloved pet would be lovely too.” I would be so happy to hear from you! Whether dog, cat, horse, or another animal close to your heart—I’ll paint your very own personal artwork on canvas that will stay with you for life.
